About HAMOM

Founded in 1970, HAMOM is a nonprofit support group made up of and open to all mothers of multiples in Huntsville, Alabama, and surrounding areas. Monthly meetings allow members to coordinate activities, socialize, and share individual experiences. Our meetings often include guest speakers who present a wide range of topics of particular interest to parents of multiples. HAMOM conducts a number of annual projects and events for the benefit of the members and the Huntsville community. We also provide support and advice for expectant mothers of multiples and keep in touch with MOMs at home or in the hospital before and after their multiples are delivered, including meals, babysitting, or simply lending a helping hand.

HAMOM meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meeting locations vary from meeting rooms at First Baptist Church of Huntsville, to local area restaurants. All meeting announcements will include the location.

MOMsMart is HAMOM's semi-annual consignment sale that takes place in the spring and fall. These are our main fund-raising events with the proceeds of our bake sale benefiting various local charitable organizations. Proceeds from the sale support our monthly meetings, yearly events, organizational expenses, and allow us to contribute to additional charitable organizations that help many worthy causes for many different locals of all ages.

MOMsMart is the only local consignment sale organized by a non-profit support group.

Please note that though this sale is hosted by a club of mothers of twins and triplets, at any time a single outfit from a "twinset" (or triplet set) can be sold by itself.

Spring 2012 MOMsMart Information:The Spring 2012 MOMsMart will be held March 9 & 10 in the gym at Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 607 Airport Road in Huntsville, AL 35802. Click here for a map.

The easiest way to find the gym is to enter the parking lot at the main entrance and drive straight to the back of the church. There are glass double doors at the "New Life Center" and you will enter through these. Once inside you will see signs pointing you towards the sale.

Public Sale Hours are:
Friday, March 9: 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 10: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
(50% off items MARKED IN RED during the last TWO HOURS of the sale)

Private Shopping Hours:The private shopping hours are on Friday, March 9:
1:00-2:00pm - Committee Members Start Shopping
2:00-3:00pm - Workers Start Shopping
3:00-4:00pm - Members & Potentials Start Shopping
4:00-5:00pm - Invitations (must have received from a member and have HAMOM'S member's name on the pass) & Outside Consignors
